ABOUT:
Drawn And Quartered (Nuclear Winter Records): Formed in Seattle in 1992, Drawn and Quartered have spent more than three decades forging some of the darkest and most uncompromising death metal to emerge from the Pacific Northwest: a blend of savage riffing, oppressive atmosphere, doom-laden passages and vicious bursts of speed.
FFO: Immolation, Incantation, Infester, Morbid Angel
Putridity (Willowtip Records): One of the most relentless forces in Italian brutal death metal, Putridity have built their reputation on an uncompromising combination of extreme speed, crushing low-end brutality and dizzying technical precision. Following a decade-long gap between full-lengths, the band returned in 2025 with Morbid Ataraxia.
FFO: Suffocation, Defeated Sanity, Disgorge, early-Decrepit Birth
Noroth (Carbonized Records): Hailing from Seattle, and delivering a filthy and intensely physical strain of old-school death metal built around downtuned riffs, primitive grooves and death-doom weight that meet sludge-stained and relentlessly heavy approach.
FFO: Cianide, Grave, Bolt Thrower, Contaminated
Claustrum (Avantgarde Music): Featuring members of Grime, Fuoco Fatuo, Affliction Vector and Feral Forms, Claustrum channel their devotion to death metal of old through cavernous production, oppressive doom passages and bursts of primitive aggression.
FFO: Incantation, Cianide, Autopsy, Coffins
